Det är nu möjligt att släcka sökrutan i historieträdet. En riktigt fin förbättring är att om du har en plåtkonstruktion och delar upp den i två eller flera delar skapas automatiskt en separat utbredning för respektive plåtdel.

Options
Dimensions
In Tools > Options > Document Properties > Dimensions > Hole Callout, Count delimiter lets you select the standard to use in callouts, either the document standard or the hole standard.
FeatureManager
In Tools > Options > System Options > FeatureManager, the option Enable FeatureManager tree filter shows or hides the box at the top of the FeatureManager design tree where you can type text to filter.
Sheet Metal
In Tools > Options > Document Properties > Sheet Metal, the option Create multiple flat patterns whenever a feature creates multiple sheetmetal bodies creates flat pattern features. When selected, if you use a feature to create additional bodies in a sheet metal part, each new body gets a sheet metal and flat pattern feature.
Export Options
Bounded Surface (type 143) is a new IGES export option that lets you export periodic faces without splitting them into nonperiodic ones, such as cylinders.
PhotoView 360
Support for 3D woods is restored. As in previous releases of PhotoWorks, 3D woods will continue to display as 2D textures with mapping controls, but will always ray trace render without requiring any mapping.
• 3D wood appearances applied prior to SolidWorks 2011 will render in PhotoView 360 as expected.
• 3D wood appearances applied prior to SolidWorks 2011 Service Pack 2.0 but after SolidWorks 2011 Alpha1 must be reapplied to render as 3D woods.
